Fixed 4-Year Certificate Validity Enforcement

Historically, Type Approval certificates in Oman did not expire. Under the current regulation:

• All new certificates issued by the TRA carry an explicit **4-year expiration date**.
• Certificates must be renewed prior to expiry to maintain active import rights in the Bayan customs portal.
• Older certificates issued prior to regulatory shifts require formal re-evaluation or renewal.

Compliance Strategy for Importers
